Summer Sunsets - Photo Series

I recently moved into a new apartment in Orange County. Yay! My new place has large windows in both the living room and the bedroom in the back, with each facing east and west, respectively. This gives a lot of space for the sun to make its presence known in my home.

In every wall, doorway, crevice, mirror, furniture, and fixture, I saw the sun lay its most vibrant, warm rays into my apartment. I was inspired to take photos of all the sunrises and sunsets I saw for the first few weeks in my apartment.

Here’s a collection of those photos, taken using the Lapse app, a disposable camera app that leaves a cool, film texture on photos. All photos are taken with my iPhone 15.

It’s so interesting looking back at these photos from when I first moved in. I’ve obviously unpacked and settled in a bit more, so many furniture and decor pieces have changed since these photos.
