October + November Favorites 2025
How are we already in December?! Wasn’t it Halloween just a couple of weeks ago?
Rhetorical questions, of course.
We’re back with another roundup of my monthly favorites, the October & November edition.
In light of recent conversations surrounding Spotify, I’m linking a song I’ve been playing nonstop from Deezer instead.
YES, I am still listening to Magdalena Bay daily. They are just that good.
Here are some of my favorites from the past couple of months:
Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Bagels
These bagels are so yummy! They have a subtle pumpkin flavor that brings the fall vibes every morning. The bag in the photo is almost empty because these bagels don’t last too long in my home.
Trader Joe’s Pink Lady Apple Chips - Cinnamon Sugar
I love the slight crunch of the chips, the sweetness from the cinnamon sugar, and the taste of the Pink Lady apples, of course. This snack never survives more than a day in my home; I need TJ’s to sell a larger bag already!
Homemade Matcha Lattes
While I love visiting a cute local coffee shop, it’s great to finally have my own ingredients to make my own matcha lattes at home! This is especially helpful for those days when I work an early shift from home, but can’t leave right away to grab a coffee.
My partner and I have been experimenting with making drinks with cinnamon, cold foam, strawberry and chocolate syrup, and more! The results are delicious, creamy, sweet, and fun drinks.
Avocado Toast & Breakfast Burritos
I’m pairing these two together in this list because they’re both breakfast foods lol. I’ve been loving making avocado toast and egg & bacon burritos for breakfast lately. Either dish paired with a homemade matcha latte makes me feel like I’m treating myself to a yummy breakfast in a cute coffee shop, except I’m in the comfort of my own home.
I will typically include eggs, bacon, hash browns, and avocado in my breakfast burritos (plus ketchup on the side, of course). My avocado toasts will typically have an over-medium egg, bacon, shredded cheese, and everything but the bagel seasoning.
These meals are so delicious, filling, and nutritious! Also, as someone who typically opts to make the quickest and fastest meals (I’m a busy girl!!), it is nice to slow down and be more intentional about the food I make and eat. I hope to slow down and not feel so rushed when it comes to eating meals in the future.
Early Morning Workouts
Speaking of intentionality, it’s nice to spend my time wisely and use my early mornings as time to work on myself! I’ve been waking up early each morning and working out for ~20-40 minutes (depending on how quickly I get out of bed lol) before the start of my shift at work.
I have already noticed notable changes in my body composition, strength, energy levels throughout the day, and self-esteem. It’s also great to put work and effort towards a goal and see the results of that goal.
Walking Pad
Fitness fitness fitness. I got a walking pad to put under my desk while I work from home. I love it so much! I am now walking 10k+ steps each day, all while staying at my desk and getting work done. It is so much nicer than being stuck in a seat all day, and a great way to stay active.
If I must be a cog in the capitalistic machine, then I’m glad I am at least getting my steps in whilst I do so.
Here’s a photo of my walking pad on pause, because I was using it while writing this lol.
Solo Walks at Disneyland
OMG, more walking! When I’m not stuck at home, I am working in the office or just visiting Disneyland on my day off. I love having time to myself to get extra steps in, window shop, take in the decor and scenery, and snack on Disney foods.
Watch Ring from MOCA
I recently visited the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, and I found this watch ring sold at the gift shop! Once I saw how large, obnoxious, and cute it was, I knew I had to buy it. I’ve gotten so many compliments on it, from both friends and strangers alike, and it ties any outfit together.
Yes, it does work!
Wow, what a list!
Is there anything new you tried and enjoyed recently?
Until next time, dear friends!
